Recover your health & emotional well-being

About me
Hello! I'm Dr. Cheyri Terrero, an advanced laparoscopic general surgeon, specialized in managing overweight, obesity and controlling excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
I know how having a weight outside the normal range influences the different areas of our lives, which is why my goal is to achieve your best state of well-being and prevent possible adverse diseases that can limit your performance as a social and professional individual.
Within the framework of my training, I trained as a doctor of medicine at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña UNPHU, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Followed by four years in the realization of a Specialty in General Surgery at the Central Hospital of the Dominican Armed Forces.
I have a postgraduate degree in Hands On in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, in the City of Corrientes, Argentina; and later, I studied another postgraduate degree in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Digestive Endoscopy Hands On, in the same city.
And, within the framework of the realization of these last two titles, I received training in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery by the Federal Society of Argentina, Buenos Aires.
During my training as a surgeon, I collaborated and worked with outstanding colleagues with vast experience and long standing, with whom I still share my professional work constantly.
I am a member of the Dominican College of Surgeons and the Argentine Surgery Association (AAC). I have participated in various national and international events, among which: the Congress of the American Federation of General Surgery (FELAC), the Coloproctology Congress of the Dominican Coloproctology Society.
